Bolognabrain

I was reading the headlines on MSN.com this morning, and saw one asking “Should Peds be legalized?” I was thinking I never knew they were illegal. I used to have that cute, little Peds dispenser. Then I realized they were PEZ, not Peds. Boy did I feel stupid. Peds, or performance enhancing drugs, are what got Lance Armstrong in so much trouble. I guess the fallout from that episode is Armstrong’s LiveStrong charity is doing better than ever. Even though he still maintains his innocence, and as much as I believe all athletes should compete on a level playing field with nothing more than ability, training and, occasionally, sheer dumb luck deciding the outcome, I believe pretty much anything that moves the fight to cure and eradicate cancer, worthwhile. I do miss PEZ, though. Flip the top open, get a bite of candy. How sweet.

I’ve written about this before, but when running my errands around town, I read license plates to see what funny stuff people come up with, or get away with. I saw this one the other day and liked it.

Finally, the more I try to stay away from politics, the more is shoves it’s ugly face in mine. This one cracked me up with its honesty, integrity and sense of humor; all traits I want from congressional leadership.
